Whilst on the flip is Mr Thing's remix of the gritty '8 Bricks' featuring one of Londons finest lyricists, Melanin 9. This remix was originally a digital only bonus track on the album but was much needed on wax

Sometimes in music you discover an artist or group that you just connect with and Children of Zeus just did that to me last year. Discovered by me via a recommendation on the Hip Hop Saved My Life podcast from the legendary Rodney P and I haven't stopped listening to them since. The soulful vibes, deep bass and raps, influenced so much by great music from the past whilst adding themselves to this rich history with their own music and life story and they are just as incredible live too.
